Beauty Products That You’ll Need To Have in 2021
These beauty products that you’ll need to have this year are definitely a must-add in your skincare routine or vanity table. Some are even travel-friendly.
Since I am a makeup and travel lover, I’m making this post to help you so that you can do makeup comfortably while traveling also some tools and skincare products you can add to your beauty routine.
When you almost hit 30 (Yep, that’s me too 😥 ), you are forced to do more skincare rather than when you’re 20’s. Also, if you prefer natural makeup like me, you will likely to pay attention to your skincare rather than your makeup. So your skin will need more vitamins and especially protection from the sun and debris out there.
Some of the products that I’ll mention below is going to be about skincare and makeup routine you can do. As far as I know, these products have given a great benefit for me this year so I hope it can give you benefits also!
Shall we see the beauty products that I personally recommend?

#1 Beauty Blender Holder
I adore my Beauty Blender. It makes my foundation or bb cream go on so much more naturally. Plus, I can wash it after every time I used it to make sure there are no bacteria transferring to my face.
But, after I wash and dry it, I often struggle with where to put it to keep it clean. I have tried a Ziploc, but it ends up looking a little beat up quickly and makes the beauty blender kind of a bit damp.
This Beauty Blender Holder is so much better! I was thrilled when I found this. It’s a perfect size to keeps your Beauty Blender clean and easily fits in your makeup bag or purse when on the go.
#2 The Matte Makeup Organizer
Stop your brushes and makeup from falling into the sink with this product.
We’ve all done it. You are applying your makeup with limited counter space and you accidentally drop your brush or push it into the sink accidentally. Then it’s wet and you worry it’s covered in bacteria and you can’t use it.
Well, no more things like that happen again because of The Matte Organizer to the rescue!
This genius product can be rolled out over your sink area to not only prevent this from happening but give you more counter space to work with. A win-win solution for you!
#3 Vanity Mirror With LED Lights
This is the great thing you will ever want! You can put this on your vanity table as an additional mirror.
I love that it comes with 3 panels magnifying (1x, 2x and 3x) and 1 big panels to give you a wide-angle viewing for you to see clearly your facial features and make a perfect makeup with each detail taken care of.
It also builds with LED lights that you can adjust the brightness with sensor touch button. The LED lights can be a great help in using in dark or poor light situation.
This Vanity Mirror is perfect for your to bring while you’re traveling because it’s super compact. Grab one yourself!
#4 Makeup Brush Cleaner
Another thing that is perfect for traveling. This Makeup Brush Cleaner is all you need when you need to travel light somewhere. It can fit into your purse just like a compact powder.
It’s super easy to clean with any cleansing lotion preferably your face wash and dry it for repeated use. To use this is super easy because you just need to glide the brush against the sponge surface to remove the powder pigment.
#5 Eyelash box
If you are an eyelashes junkie then this is perfect for you.
Use this Eyelash case to organize & store your false lashes. It will keep them separate, clean, and in good shape to reapply the next time you want to wear them.
You can have a different pair for each day of the week because you can store 3 reusable pairs of lashes.
#6 Electronic Facial Brush
Okay, probably you have heard this thing but I do really want to put this on the list because I have used and loved it so far.
It really helps to clean my face properly also it does not feel dry afterward (depends on what face wash you used). Plus I love how the brush is super soft and the feels, when it brush your face, are so comforting like massaging your face!
So, this facial brush is a must-have in your beauty routine. Grab one yourself here.
#7 Fullips Lip Plumper
This is a very weird product when I first saw it but it actually works! But you need to beware of the copy and buy only the real one. Buy it from here.
#8 Etude House 4-Tip Brow
I have recently bought this and I am loving it. I use this with my all-time favorite Wet and Wild Brow Kit (Ash Brown) makes the perfect bushy natural brow look ever!
One tip is you need to keep on practicing using this and never ever put a lot of pressure or else you will have a very unnatural brow stroke.
#9 Skin Aqua Rohto New Sunscreen Tone Up UV Essence SPF50+ PA++++
I know, the name is super long. But it does what the name says. This sunscreen is super light and not sticky when you applied and it has a lightly blueish pink color tint which somewhat likes a primer.
Tip: If you have dark skin color, this probably not for you. The next sunscreen will be perfect for you.
But there is also another great option that I have tried so many times which is Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunscreen SPF50+ PA+++. This also light and non-sticky sunscreen you can apply before your primer or foundation to protect your skin especially when your foundation does not have high SPF.
#10 Essential Oils
I know you probably think that I am crazy! Nope, I am not. For combination skin like me (oily on the center and dry on the outer side), face oil is a must to keep your skin “baby butt” smooth and moist.
At first, I don’t believe this either but then I try it. In two weeks, I see the difference (too bad I don’t take pictures, ugh!) and my face is super smooth and moist even during wintertime.
Here how I use it, every night after the shower or before going to bed, apply moisturizer or serum first, let it dry and then warm up a little bit of essential oil by rubbing it together between your palm and massage it slowly or tap to your face to lock all the good moisture.
Do this every night and see the magic.
To know which essential oils are good for your face, you can try the basic one first such as:
- Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil (read: hoh-hoh-bah oil) don’t believe me? try to google it.
- Castor Oil – this is good for literally everything! Your face, body and especially hair (beard too!)
- Rosehip Oil – This is the most raving face oils that everyone talking about.
- Avocado Oil – good for everything!
#11 The History of Whoo Jinyul Eye cream
While not all of us need these but it has become essentials when you almost hit 30. Believe me. I need that now. This eye cream has been my favorite for a long time but I started to use it again because I know this will give a major impact on my skincare.
I usually apply eye cream before sleep and make sure to seal it with essential oils to keep the moisture. But one thing you need to remember. This is not some potion that will magically change your “panda” eye.
You need to incorporate good sleep time which is 6-8 hours, drink enough water and most important never sleep too late. When you feel that your eyes already tired, it is the alert that your under eyes are drying and need to rest.
#12 Freeman Face Mask
You probably in shock why I recommend Freeman Mask and not a Korean brand face mask. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I don’t like Korean face masks. My skin does not very friendly accepting all the juice from certain Korean Mask but for Freeman Mask, it’s different.
Most of their face masks work really well and does not irritate my skin. And that’s how I decide to put Freeman on the list and this face mask is my favorite if you want to try one.
Now there is some Korean face mask that I want to recommend also and it works great after scrubbing your face which is Etude House Face Mask (Manuka Honey and Snail is my favorite). Somehow only this brand works well with my skincare routine and I would not trade it for other brands because the point of skincare is not to try something that won’t work with your skin and skincare routine. If you do that, you can keep your skin flawless and not break out easily.
#13 Skin Food Face Scrub
Exfoliating plays an important part in your beauty routine. While it is not for daily use if you exfoliate all the dirt on your face from debris and makeup, it can keep your skin clean and smooth.
My favorite scrub is from Skinfood. They have 2 types of scrub, one with black sugar and the other for brightening.
Both are not too rough for my skin and leaves it smooth ready for a face mask.
Even though it cannot remove the blackhead completely but at least most parts of your face get a good exfoliate with this scrub.
If you want to treat your blackhead and removed it completely, you can head to my post on How to Remove Blackhead Effectively.
#14 Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence
If you google reviews for this, some people might say that it is quite similar to SK-II Facial Treatment Essence but if you look closely at the list of ingredients. You will realize that it can be the same but there are more things added to the Missha one.
While I know that SK-II is pricey for my pocket, I had to find another solution so that I can still have an essence as a toner before moisturizing.
I know you probably say, how many products that I have to put on my face before sleeping? If you live in two or four seasons countries, you will realize that all of this beauty routine won’t really take up too much time because it does worth the time and can keep your skin moist. And isn’t it that our goal?
But this essence has saved my pocket and my skin for as long as I can remember. It does not sticky and leaves your skin smooth after applying.
Same effect as SK-II FTE. So, why not give this essence a try?
That is it! My all-time favorite beauty products! Leave a comment down below if you have tried some of these beauty products and let me know what you think!
